Things To Consider

  • PLEASE ANSWER ALL OF THESE QUESTIONS SO I MAY GET YOU A PROPOSAL!
  • Copy and paste right into an email to me with answers!
  • lisasbartenders@yahoo.com

  • Bride and Grooms name, email and cell numbers please!

  • How many guests are you expecting? (This is very important for the quality of service.)

  • Date of function and where will it take place?  Address?

  • What time does the function begin? And end?

  • Where will we be setting up?
  • Keep in mind that we will need 2 hours for the loading, unloading, setup, chilling down, cleanup, etc.
  • If you are having under 200 guests, we suggest 1 bar setup, if over 2 hundred we suggest a 2 bar setup.
  • Will you need us to bring tables, linens, and trashcans? Table $10 and table cloth $10, Trashcan, $5. Beverage Napkins $10 per 100.

  • Will hard coated clear plastic cups meet your needs ($10 per 100) Or will you need to order your glassware, (Extra $20 fee for glassware USE)

  • Our bartenders' normal attire is white tuxedo shirts, black bow ties, black slacks, and black shoes. We also have matching black hawaiin cocktail shirts, with khaki pants and white tennis shoes. However, if your function has a specific theme, we will be happy to dress accordingly.
  • Will you want a full bar? Vodka, Gin, Rum, Bourbon, Scotch, Whiskey, Canadian, and maybe Tequila? Champagne? Beer and Wine?  Or perhaps you might consider just a Vodka, Rum and Whiskey, or a pretty Signature drink?

  • If you want only a beer, wine and champagne bar...  What type of Champagne?  What type of Beer and Wine? Please order plenty of BAGGED ice, easier to chill down the beer and wine. Even if the rental place has an ice machine...it is usually also used by the caterer and we don't need to run out.

  • Will you want to buy your soft drinks at Sams/Costco? Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Ginger Ale, (maybe Orange, Grapefruit and Cranberry Juices, Water.)  Prices are more reasonable!
  • Don't forget the non-drinkers and designated drivers. Get plenty of soda and sparkling water.

  • Will you consider having any specialty drinks, or garnishes; cherries, olives? Don't forget Limes! And 2 or so Lemons. Don't forget the bar napkins. Also, you may consider renting a frozen drink machine!

  • Will the function be inside or outside? Make sure there is plenty of light, for outdoor nighttime functions.
  • What are your colors?

  • Who will be catering your event?

  • Who is the photographer?

  • Who is your Wedding Consultant?

  • Who is doing the flowers?

  • Who is doing your music?

  • How did you hear about us?

  • We will bring all of our coolers, stirrers, pourers, ice buckets, ice scoops, and wine openers.

  • TIPS for bartenders are encouraged!

  • PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN LARGE COOLER FOR ANY LEFT OVER BEER, ETC.

  • We Recycle!

Wedding Receptions:
The amount of alcohol consumed varies widely. You know your guests, and how much they are likely to drink. Will they choose liquor or do you think they'll go for wine and beer? In most weddings, the crowd is multi-generational, and as a result, you'll probably have a range of preferences. The surest predictor of the amount to purchase is the time of day you've chosen for the reception. Much less alcohol will be consumed at a morning reception than at a late afternoon or evening event.
Considering that there will be those in attendance who will not drink alcohol, it's safe to estimate that the crowd will consume one drink per person per hour, or about five drinks over the course of the evening. Considering that your guests will probably be driving home after the event, it's in everyone's interest that the drinking not exceed that one-per-hour rate.
What makes up a full bar?
If you decide to have a full bar, here's an estimate of how much you'll need per hundred guests.

Beer 5-6 cases
White wine 1.5 cases
Red wine 1 case
Champagne 1 case
Vodka 4 liters
Gin 1 liters
Scotch 1 liter
Bourbon 2 liters
Whiskey 2 liters
Rum 1 liter
Tequila 1 liter
